Foul Play not suspected in Death of St. FX Student

At approximately 8:50 p.m. on Sunday March 8th, 2009 Antigonish RCMP along with Emergency Health Services were dispatched to Saint Francis Xavier University where it was reported that a male student had fallen from his room window.
Upon arrival emergency personnel found a 19 year old male on the ground outside of Lane Hall on Notre Dame Drive on the campus.

Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

He has been identified as Nicholas John Sheehan a first year student from Fredericton, New
Brunswick. Mr. Sheehan had fallen from his fourth floor residence.

Foul play is not suspected.

The matter is still under investigation by the local RCMP.

The medical Examiners office as order an autopsy for later today.
