CHARLOTTETOWN A coroner has determined that a young man who went missing after a New Years Eve party in Prince Edward Island died of exposure.

The body of Kyle Bambrick, 18, of Charlottetown was found three days after he wandered out into a raging blizzard in the Clyde River area.

The RCMP says there was no foul play and they have referred the matter to the P.E.I. Liquor Commission for review.

Investigators determined that Bambrick consumed alcohol during the party at the Dog River Golf Course.

They determined that he left the party on foot at about 3 a.m. on New Years Day.

The Mounties say Bambrick had been waiting for a drive from the party when he decided to leave on foot without telling anyone.
