OXFORD: A new look on the web for Cumberland County's blueberry capital is up and ready to go. During the month of February the town of Oxford had its new website ready for all to visit.
"The old website was getting a little tired looking therefore we figured it would be a good time to reintroduce the website with a new look," Linda Cloney Culture and Leisure Services Coordinator said.
Along with Cloney every Wednesday for a year Councillor Trish Stewart, Councillor Dawn Thompson and CREDA's Aaron Embree have dedicated themselves to having the new website ready.
The four responsible in creating the new website had been picking away at the old site since January 2007 and are happy to see the site online.
"The site is a great way for people to find out what's happening around the town of Oxford. We are hoping people will utilize it," Cloney said.
"We do send monthly flyers out but there are those who live just out of the mailing reach. The website is one way to find out what's happening and what the town of Oxford has to offer."
Whether you live in Oxford or visiting Oxford the town's new website has information for all. To check out happenings in Oxford visit www.town.oxford.ns.ca.
