TRENTON - After losing the first game of a three game tour away from home, the Cumberland County Cool Blues roared back with wins against both the Antigonish Bulldogs on Jan. 6, and the Pictou County Scotians in Trenton last night.
The Cool Blues beat the Scotians by a score of 6-4 in a hard fought battle that saw goals off the sticks of Ryan Kay, Ryan Smith, two from Cody Firth, one from Murray Bavis and one from Adam MacDonald.
"The boys played hard," said coach Ron Reynolds. "They played through a lot of adversity tonight.
"The Scotians played a very chippy game," Reynolds added. "They ran the goaltender and forced Matt Kimber out of the game in the second period but Landon Crowe came in and stood on his head. It was a very cheap play."
The last time Cool Blues fans got to see their team at home was on Dec. 14, against the Bay Ducks but the long dry will finally come to an end when they take on the Brookfield Elks on Friday, Jan. 11, at the Richard Calder Arena in Springhill.
Cool Blue Fast Fact: After losing their first two meeting against the Bulldogs, the Cool Blues have now turned the table and won their last two games against the Sid Row Division rivals.

I was at the junior b game in Trenton and you must of seen a different game than most of the fans because I would say that the pictou player was directed intov the goalie unlike the cumberland player who then proceeded to go to the other end of the rink and swing his stick the pictou goalie.I think you forgot to mention that part of the game. But i can see why when you have blinders on
