Veteran Cortes scores winner

Andrew Brennan scored three times powering the Cumberland County Cool Blues to a 6-5 shoot out victory over the Bay Ducks in Nova Scotia Junior B Hockey League exhibition action here Saturday night.

ST MARGARET'S (Staff) - Andrew Brennan scored three times powering the Cumberland County Cool Blues to a 6-5 shoot out victory over the Bay Ducks in Nova Scotia Junior B Hockey League exhibition action here Saturday night.
Justin Cortes netted the game winner for the Blues in the shoot out while David Burke and Josh Hill also scored in the victory.
Brett Woodland, Brett Jones, Trevor MacLean, Travis Whiteside and Adam MacPhee replied for the Ducks, who were trying to avenge an 8-2 loss from the night before at Springhill.
The Blues will be back in action Sunday when they host the East Hants Penguins in a 4 p.m. contest at the Dr. Carson and Marion Murray Community Centre in Springhill.
