AMHERST – The Amherst Bantam AA Ramblers took to the ice Friday afternoon against South in Shore 2013 Nova Scotia Bantam AA Hockey Championships action.
Yarmouth meets Glace Bay at 6 p.m. and Sackville playing Sydney at 8 p.m. tonight while games continue Saturday with the semifinals and championship on Sunday.
The Peewee AA tournament began this morning in Springhill with the host Cumberland County Amherst Pharmasave Ramblers facing Truro. The final game of the day has Acadia facing Dartmouth at 7 p.m. Come Saturday morning Cumberland County plays on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. against Acadia and against Dartmouth at 12:30 p.m.
In Parrsboro, the Midget A Girls tournament kicked off today with the Parrsboro Predators facing the Cumberland County Community Credit Union ., followed by Bedford and Cape Breton . and Cumberland County against Yarmouth.
Cape Breton plays Parrsboro at 5 p.m. and Yarmouth meets Bedford at 7 p.m.
Action continues Saturday with the championship game on Sunday at 11 a.m
