Open Farm Day begins Sunday

RIVER HEBERT – Farmers across the province will be answering your farming questions during Open Farm Day on Sunday.

Shannon Jones and Bryan Dick of Broadfork Farms will be participating in Open Farm Day. They will be showcasing their unusual brand of vegetables including purple and blue tomatoes as well as purple and yellow carrots. They will also be showcasing some of their hand tools used to tend to their gardens.

Broadfork Farm, located on Boar’s Back Road in River Hebert will be open to the public from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
