The Amherst News and Citizen-Record are hosting an online candidates' chat on Tuesday.

AMHERST – With the provincial election campaign entering the home stretch, voters in Cumberland North will have another chance to learn where the candidates stand on the issues.

The Amherst News and Citizen-Record are hosting an all candidates online chat session on Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 7 to 8 p.m.

Voters can log on to www.cumberlandnewsnow.com to post their questions to Green Party candidate Jason Blanch, Judi Giroux of the Progressive Conservatives, Liberal Terry Farrell and NDP candidate Brian Skabar.

Managing editor Darrell Cole is moderating the hour-long chat session.

On Monday, the Pugwash Chamber of Commerce is hosting a candidates forum at the St. Thomas Moore Church in Pugwash from 7 to 9 p.m.

Another forum is planned for Friday, Oct. 4 at 9 a.m. on CFTA Tantramar Radio from 9 to 10 a.m.

Election Day is Oct. 8.
