Crystal's Corner

Hello readers, hope you all had a wonderful week.

Whew, nothing like a blast of winter to remind you that it is still winter. Funny, I heard the same sentiments from other folks as to what has been rattling around in my brain for a couple weeks now - this is getting tiring.

Shoveling, scraping, freezing, getting blown in the face with snow, wading through it, slipping on ice, sanding and salting then turning around and having to do it right again - sheesh, enough Old Man Winter, we are pooped. Yes, the winter workout is great  once in awhile, but lately I've been seeing so much of my shovel that seriously, we may have to start getting on a first name basis and I'm going to have to invite it in for a coffee sometime. Honestly, I'd prefer to get to know my lawn chair with the refreshment holder a little bit better, right about now.
