The Nova Scotia Youth Choir will perform at Trinity-St. Stephen's United Church in Amherst on Saturday.
AMHERST – he 2013 Nova Scotia Youth Choir, under the direction of guest conductor Elise Bradley will be in concert on Saturday at Trinty-St. Stephen’s United Church on Saturday Oct. 5th at 7:30 p.m.
The Nova Scotia Youth Choir is an auditioned group of the province’s most talented and dedicated choral singers, ages 16 to 25 from communities across Nova Scotia. It is one of only three provincial ensembles of its kind in Canada.
They will be joined by resident conductors Garth MacPhee, Eszter Horvath and accompanist Krissy Keech.
Bradley, the 2013 guest conductor, is one of Canada’s most accomplished conductors. A native New Zealander, she is the artistic director and conductor of the prestigious Toronto Children’s Chorus, one of the finest youth choirs in the world.
Tickets for the Amherst concert are $20 adults, $15 seniors, and $5 for students.
They can be purchased at church or at the door.
