Meeting

Cumberland Snowmobile Club will hold its regular monthly meeting March 5 at 7 p.m. at the snowmobile club in Collingwood.

Pool Tournament

A Pancake Supper w/Sausages, Baked Beans & Light Dessert will be held for Shrove Tuesday from 4 - 6 PM at the Holy Family Church Hall, Church Street, Amherst.

Blood donor clinic

A blood donor clinic will be held at the Amherst Armories from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 5 to 8 p.m.

Women’s Day in Amherst

International Women’s Day Celebration, celebrating with women of African descent will be held at noon at the Lions Club, 9 Electric Street, Amherst.

Women’s Day in Pugwash

International Women’s Day will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Church Hall in Pugwash at 1:30 p.m. Special Guest: Katharine Mott. (Saltscapes Magazine). Refreshments

Pancake Supper

Shrove Tuesday supper with pancakes, sausages, beans and dessert at Trinity United Church, Oxford from 4-6 p.m.

Community luncheon

@Calendar - Description:A Community Luncheon will be held at noon. Log Building, Mills Road, Advocate Harbour. On the menu this month is Casseroles, Biscuits, Dessert, Tea & Coffee. Everyone Welcome!

A blood donor clinic will be held at the Amherst Armories from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 5 to 8 p.m.

Annual general meeting of the Lillian Allbon Animal Shelter will be held at the Amherst Town Hall. From 6:30 8 p.m.

Twisted Stitchers

The Twisted Stitchers will meet at the Four Fathers Memorial Library from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Join the drop-in stitchery group. Bring your project to work on at this monthly informal get-together. Knitting, crochet, embroidery, quilting and all other kinds of textile crafts. For more information call 667-2549.
