Don't miss the After School Movie, Nanny McPhee Returns showing at the Spinghill library from 3-4:45 for ages 5 and up. This movie is rated. G.  Please call the library at 597-2211 to register.

 

Meeting

 The Amherst 50+ Club, 52 Croft St.,will hold its monthly meeting and Election Meeting starting at 7 p.m.  All members welcome.  To become a club member call 667-1058.

An Auction 45's tournament will be held at the Amherst 50+ Club, 52 Croft St., at 7 p.m..  Registration at 1 p.m.  Please bring a partner.

Premiere

Premiere of "I Can Wait",  educational video for youth, Capitol Theatre, Oxford, 7-8 p.m.

Benefit

A benefit for Angela Schofield will be held at Teazer's Pub & Eatery starting at 9 p.m. Auction, local talent & lots of door prizes. Funds to help Angela with Cancer treatment costs.

 

Breakfast

The Knights of Columbus will host a breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. at the K of C hall, 5 Robie St. Scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, toast.

An evening of inspirational music will be held at 7 p.m. featuring Maxine Dobson at St. David's Presbyterian Church, Springhill.

 

Flag Day Celebrations

Flag/Heritage Day Celebrations will be hosted by the Parrsborough Shore Historicial Society and Parrsboro Legion at noon.  Lunch, bakesale at noon. Special guest speakers at 1p.m.

Heart beats luncheon

Amherst CWC luncheon, Wandlyn Inn, 11:30 am.  Presentation on diabetes, music, inspirational message. Ham & Potatoe Scallop meal. Reservations necessary by noon February 21st. Call 667-3729.

Chilly Willy

Celebrate Chilly Willy Week from 3-4 p.m. by making your very own Chilly Willy penguin, playing some games and having a cool treat! This is for ages 5-12. Please call the Springhill library at 597-2211 to register.

Turkey Supper

A turkey supper will be held at the Immanual United Church: 1st sitting @ 4 pm; 2nd sitting @ 6 pm. All proceeds in support of Double D 4-H & Sunrise 4-H Clubs.

 

Open Mic

Open Mic Night at the bandhall in Parrsboro. Donations at the door. 50/50 draw. Door prize given out.

 

The Mitten

Children and their caregivers are invited to Maggie's Place for a fun morning of activities and a healthy snack. Call 667-7250 to register.
