Yoga classes to begin this month
Well, it is already well into 2011. I wonder how many resolutions have been broken to date.
The snowmobilers of the surrounding area are more that happy to see all the snow that we have received in the past few days. I am advised that the trails have been groomed throughout the area from Advocate all the way to River Hebert and beyond.
Not very much happening in our little tri-village area these days, except that the card parties are in full swing every Saurday night at 7 p.m. at the FPW Fire Hall. As usual, everyone is welcome to attend and participate in an evening of friendship and cards.
Lisa McCully, a certified yoga instructor, will be teaching beginner and intermediate classes at the FPW Fire Hall starting on Jan. 23 from 7-8:30 p.m. This sounds like a great way to effectively and gently work off a few of these turkey pounds that some of us gathered during the holiday season.
The cost is $48 for six weeks of instruction and, according to Lisa, this a co-ed opportunity - so come on out men and get in shape. Please contact Lisa at 254-4645 or just show up on Jan. 23.
Well, that seems to be it for this week folks. If you have any items for submission, please get them to me by Monday evening.
Have a good one.
