Meeting

The Tantramar Community Radio Society will hold its Annual General Meeting at 7 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion at 47 Laplanche St. in Amherst. There will be a project update, financial report and election of officers.

Craft building

The Springhill Library is having an after school craft from 3 to 4 p.m. Students will be making snow globes and the cost is free. Please call to register 597-2211.

Family bowling

The Cumberland Pride Society hosts Family Bowling Night at King Pin Lanes in Amherst at 7 p.m. For more information email cumberlandpride@hotmail.com.

Cumberland Snowmobile Club’s regular monthly meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Club in Collingwood.

Musical afternoon

A musical afternoon will be held from 1-5 at the Sunrise Seniors Hall in Lower Shinimicas.

Meeting

Cumberland County Riders ATV Club will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. in the Brookdale Church Hall.

Computer for beginners

The Four Fathers Memorial Library at 21 Acadia st. is offering free 6-week course: Computer classes for beginners. Classes will be from 1:30 p.m.-3 p.m. Registration is required. For more information or to register call the library at 667-2549.

Terrific Toddlers

This program is for parents with children ages 1-3 years, Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Call Maggie’s Place to register 667-7250.

Seniors College

Tantramar Seniors’ College registration will be held at the Trinity-St Stephen United Church Hall between 3 and 5 p.m. Information about courses and the college can be found at http://tantramarseniorscollege.ca/.

Twisted Stitchers

The Twisted Stitchers meet from 6:30 - 8 p.m.

Join our drop-in stitchery group! Bring your project to work on at this monthly informal get-together at the Four Fathers Memorial Library. Knitting, crochet, embroidery, quilting and all other kinds of textile crafts.

Computer for beginners

Computer Classes for Beginners will take place at the Springhill library. Participate in classes on keyboarding,

email, web browsing & more-all free of charge.

Six-week program. Start time 10 to 11:30 a.m. Registration is required. Call 597-2211.

Pot luck

A pot luck supper and cards will be held at the Sunrise Seniors Hall in Lower Shinimicas, 6 p.m. Bring your own dishes and favourite food dish.

Jan 15

Open Mic

Open Mic Night at the Parrsboro Bandhall. This is the winter home of the Diligent River Jam night. Donations at door. Starts at 7 p.m.

Musical evening

A musical evening will be held at the Sunrise Seniors Hall in Lower Shinimicas from 8 to 11:15 p.m.
