Dec. 31

Special Olympics fundraiser. A New Year’s Party in support of the Special Olympics will be held from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Buffet lunch after midnight.

Jan. 1

New Years Levee

Christ Church will hold its annual New Year Levee, sponsored by the Men’s Club of Christ Church from noon until 1 p.m., in the Parish Hall. Enter from the parking lot behind the church. Everyone is welcome. Come help us celebrate the New Year.

The R.C.A.F. Assoc. 105 Cumberland Wing ,Havelock St.will be holding its New Year’s Levee from 1 to 3 P.M. Inquiries 667-9262. Come wish your friends “Happy New Year. “

Movie Night

Movie night at the Parrsboro Bandhall on the big screen, starts at 8 p.m.

Cards

There will be a 45’s card party at the Springhill Senior Citizens Centre (4 McDougal St) at 7:30 pm. No partner is needed.

Jan. 6

Meeting

The Tantramar Community Radio Society will hold its Annual General Meeting at 7 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion at 47 Laplanche St. in Amherst. There will be a project update, financial report and election of officers.

Jan. 9

Musical afternoon

A musical afternoon will be held from 1-5 at the Sunrise Seniors Hall in Lower Shinimicas.

Jan. 11

Terrific Toddlers

This program is for parents with children ages 1-3 years, Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:30am. Call Maggie’s Place to register 667-7250.

Jan. 14

Pot luck

A pot luck supper and cards will be held at the Sunrise Seniors Hall in Lower Shinimicas, 6 p.m. Bring your own dishes and favourite food dish.

Jan 15

Open Mic

Open Mic Night at the Parrsboro Bandhall. This is the winter home of the Diligent River Jam night. Donations at door. Starts at 7 p.m.

Musical evening

A musical evening will be held at the Sunrise Seniors Hall in Lower Shinimicas from 8 to 11:15 p.m.

Incredible Years Parenting Program

For parents of children with challenging behaviors ages 6-12 years. Wednesday from 9:30-11:30am,
