Holiday Party
Kids aged 5-12 can celebrate the season at the Springhill Library by decorating cookies and making a tree ornament from 2 to 3:30 p.m. To register call the Springhill Library at 597-2211 by Dec. 22.
Benefit
A benefit to held find a cure for schizophrenia will take place from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the Springhill Bar and Grill, and will feature five bands, including a headlining performance from Halifax’s Rich Aucoin. There will be prizes. For information people can search the super fun Christmas show/schizophrenia benefit on Facebook. All proceeds will be donated to the Schizophrenia Society of Nova Scotia.

Christmas Eve Movie
A Christmas Eve movie will be held from 10 a.m. - noon for Grades P-6. The Amherst Library will be showing Despicable Me.

47th annual Christmas Pagent will be held at 7 p.m. at Immanuel United Church, 25 Hickman Street.

New Years Levee
Christ Church will hold its annual New Year Levee, sponsored by the Men’s Club of Christ Church from noon until 1 p.m., in the Parish Hall. Enter from the parking lot behind the church. Everyone is welcome. Come help us celebrate the New Year.
