It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas with all the homes being decorated and all the parties.

Happy Birthday wishes goes to Isabel Moore, who celebrated this week.

Get well wishes to Wilson Hunsley as he goes for an operation on Wednesday. John Warwick had an eye operation on Monday and all is well.

The Knights of Pythian, Amherst, held a Christmas supper on Saturday night. All enjoyed it. Plenty of prizes went around when Santa arrived. The 50/50 draw went to Duncan Carter and the winning ticket of the TV went to Alan Clarke of Oxford.

The Little River church family welcomed Rev. Dewis Rector and his wife Jean, P.E.I., on Sunday morning. Rev Rector will be there again on Sunday and his many friends are welcome to join in at 9:30 p.m.

Helen Estabrooks, Brookdale, visited with her mother, Elda Lowther, on Sunday afternoon while John and Vivian Warwick visited with his mother Ruth in Truro. Her many friends will be glad to hear that she is improving each day.

Betty Bird visited the Warwick home on Tuesday bringing a basket of Christmas cheer to Elda Lowther. The Happy Neighbors Club delivered baskets to the elderly and shut-ins at this time of year. It is just one of the good deeds they do.

Congratulations to Lisa McCullough, Oxford, on the birth of her baby girl. Lisa grew up in this area and went to 4-H when I was a leader.

Vivian Warwick and several friends attended the Live Bait dinner theater in Sackville, N.B., on Friday night.

Leslie and Alice Mae Boyles, Amherst, were visiting with Douglas and Ruby Kirkpatrick on Friday.

The Kirkpatricks enjoyed supper at the new restaurant in Thompson Station.

Rev. and Mrs. Collins were recent visitors with Douglas and Ruby Kirkpatrick.

Greg, Lindsay, and Danielle Thompson were Saturday visitors with his parents, Darrel and Sheila Thompson, and enjoyed brunch together.

On Sunday Greg and Lindsay came again to visit. The Thompsons receive regular phone calls from Marion Thompson who is in Ontario. She wants to be remembered to all.

Janie Campbell, Port Howe, was visiting Sheila and Darrell Thompson recently.

David and Pat Taylor, Sussex, accompanied by their daughter Heidi Bird, Ottawa, were Sunday visitors with Pat's parents, Delbert and Lillian Carter.

Thought: The key word of Christmas is " Immanuel" God with us.
