Rise N' Shine Book Club

9 -10 a.m. The Rise N’ Shine Book Club will be meeting a week early in December.  We will be discussing “The Shack” by William Young.  For more information or to register call the library at 667-2549.

Bake Sale

A bake sale will be held from 10 to 6 p.m.at West Victoria Sun-n-Style, 6 West Victoria St. to raise funds to help Angie Scofield with cancer treatment costs.

Musical evening

A musical evening will be held from 8 to 11:15 p.m. at the Senior Citizen’s Hall in Lower Shinimicas.

Seasonal music

A special evening of carol singing and music will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Crossroads Temple, 155 Church Street.

Holiday Party

Join staff at the Amherst Library for the annual Holiday Party. Games, Stories, Crafts, Puppets and Snacks. Please call 667-2549 to register before December 17th.

Band concert

The Parrsboro Citizens' Band will hold their Annual X-mas concert, at the Parrsboro Band Hall on King St., Parrsboro. Please bring a non-perishable food item for local food bank.

Holiday Party

Kids aged 5-12 can celebrate the season at the Springhill Library by decorating cookies and making a tree ornament from 2 to 3:30 p.m. To register call the Springhill Library at 597-2211 by December 22

Christmas Eve Movie

A Christmas Eve movie will be held from 10 am - noon for Grades P-6. The Amherst Library will be showing Despictable Me. Snacks will be provided.

Meeting

The Tantramar Community Radio Society will hold its Annual General Meeting at 7 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion at 47 Laplanche St. in Amherst. There will be a project update, financial report and election of officers.

Terrific Toddlers

This program is for parents with children ages 1-3 years, Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:30am.  Call Maggie’s Place to register 667-7250.
