A potluck supper and cards evening will be held at the Sunrise Senior Citizen Hall in Lwr. Shinimicas. Bring your own dishes and favourite food dish. 6 p.m.

Teens and Truth (T-N-T)

Christmas Tea

A Christmas tea will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at the Apple River hall. Craft tables will be set up and a cake walk is planned for 2 p.m.


The Knights of Columbus breakfast will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Knights of Columbus Community Hall, Robie Street. Scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, toast.

A ‘FUN’draiser will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Between the Hearts Centre, Fort Lawrence, for Rachelle Dow’s MS Liberation Treatment. Silent auction, music, food and games.

Learn about 4-H

The Sunrise 4-H Club is having an open house from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Trumanville fire hall as November is 4-H month and the group wants to show people what 4-H is all about. Everyone is welcome to come and see the exhibits.

A musical afternoon will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Sunrise Senior Citizen Hall in Lwr. Shinimicas.

Support Run

The Cumberland Rider and Cobequid Off Highway Vehicle clubs will co-host a ATV support run to aid Shawn Hunter who is battling Multiple Scolerosis. The event will take place at 10 a.m.
