Remembrance Day @ your Library

Come to the Miners Memorial Library in Springhill and make a Remembrance Day wreath to take home! ADMISSION FREE from 3:00-4:00p.m.,ages 5-12. Call to register 597-2211.

King's Kids

Fall Dinner

A Fall Roast Chicken Dinner 4-5:30 FPW Firehall in Port Greville. Roast chicken, potatoes and fall vegetables, assorted pies, tea and coffee.

Fall Fair

Amherst Lioness 12th Annual Fall Fair 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Amherst Lions Hall

Admission - Non -perishable food item for Food Bank. Lunch available, door prizes.

Harvest Supper

Sunrise Trinity United Church in Amherst Head will host a Harvest Supper and Sale from 4 to 6 p.m. The menu features ham, potato scallop, beans, bread, rolls and apple crisp. The sale will have crafts, baked goods preserves and more.

Food Festival

An International Food Fesival will be held at First Baptist Church in Amherst from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fundraiser will offer foods from Philippines, Thailand, Congo, China, El Salvador, Italy, Ireland and Canada. Call 667-2001.

Cumberland Snowmobile Club will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at the Snowmobile Club, Collingwood.

Bazaar

The Annual Springhill Senior Citizens Bazaar will be held at the Senior's Recreation Centre from 10 am - 12 Noon. Turkey Burgers and pie will be sold. For information call 597-3141. Craft & Bake Tables will provide an excellent spot to do some Christmas Shopping!

Fall Sale

An 'Open Mic' musical benefit, to assist Jay Spencer with medical expenses, will be held at the Diligent River Community Hall at 7pm.

Twisted Stitchers

Learn about 4-H

The Sunrise 4-H Club is having an open House from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Trumanville fire Hall as November is 4-H month and the group wants to show people what 4-H is all about, everyone is welcome to come and see the exibits.

A benefit and silent auction for Claudia Weatherbee will begin at 6 p.m. Proceeds will be used for medication and medical travel for her heart condition. The event will take place at Teasers and will feature various bands and performers.
