Teens and Truth (T-N-T)
@Calendar - Description:The Amherst Open Bible Church welcomes all teens ages 13 and up to its T-N-T Group which will meet at7 p.m. at 131 Victoria St. where they can fellowship with other teens, take part in sword drills and study the Bible. The Northport School Bazaar will be held from 8:30 a.m. – noon and will feature an auction, barbecue, bake table, yard sale, kids’ games. Donations of baked goods or sale items greatly appreciated. Drop off at school or call Tanya 667-1927 or John 661-2130.
Halloween Haunting
A Halloween Haunting will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at Spring Street Elementary School. Be sure to wear your Halloween costume. All activities are free of charge and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Call 667-7250 for more information.
Benefit
A benefit will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall to support Kim McLeod who has a rare terminal illness (amyloidosis) requiring her to travel to Boston. Money raised with help cover medical and travel expenses.

Amherst Lioness 12th annual Fall Fair 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Amherst Lions Hall. Admission - Non -perishable food item for food bank. Lunch available, door prizes.
Harvest Supper
Sunrise Trinity United Church in Amherst Head will host a Harvest Supper and Sale from 4 to 6 p.m. The menu features ham, potato scallop, beans, bread, rolls and apple crisp. The sale will have crafts, baked goods preserves and more.
