Farmer of the Year
The Cumberland County Federation of Agriculture will present its Farmer of the Year Award and “Bounty of the County” free banquet of local food, 6 p.m., Nappan Experimental Farm. Meet and greet 4 p.m. Come and enjoy good food and entertainment.
A special scrapbooking day will be held at the GOVRC workshop in Springhill from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to raise money for Jason Rhindress, a workshop client, who wants to participate in the Special Olympics in London, Ont. in July. Cost $25.
A bake sale will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Ottawa House Museum, with ice cream, hotdogs and pop available.

The Parrsboro Band Hall will host a plant, bake and rummage sale, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Set up is June 4, 6-8 p.m. To reserve a table, phone 254-3674.
The Millvale United Church Women are sponsoring a Spring Sale at the Collingwood fire hall, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a bake table, crafts, clothings, etc. Lunch is available.
