Teen Movie Night
The Amherst Library is showing "Freak du Cirque: The Vampire's Assistant," for Grades 7-12 at 7 p.m.
March 19
Musical Evening
A musical evening will be held at the Sunrise Senior Citizens Hall in Lower Shinimicas from 8-11:15 p.m.
Lioness Day
Join us at the Amherst Library for crafts, stories and snacks. Grades Primary to 6, 10:30 a.m.-noon.
A beef barley soup luncheon will be served at St. Andrew's-Wesley United Church in Springhill at 11:30 p.m. Eat in or take out. Call 597-3181 for local delivery.
Cookie Decorating Party
A cookie decorating party will be held at the Springhill library from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Call 597-2211.
Charity Curling Challenge
A charity curling challenge in support of the Cumberland Health Authority's Cancer Assistance Fund will be held at the Amherst Curling Club from 5 p.m.-1 a.m. All welcome.
March 20
Classic Movie Night
The classic movie "Rear Window" will be playing at the Log Building on Mills Road in Advocate at 7 p.m. Bring snacks and drinks.
Pancake Brunch
A pancake brunch will be served at Malagash Community Hall from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Proceeds for Malagash United Church.
Music Night
King Edward Masonic Lodge in River Hebert will hold a music night at 7 p.m. Proceeds for Haitian relief.
March 23
The United Way will meet at 7 p.m., at 43 Prince Arthur St., Amherst. All welcome.
March 24
The Zone 3 Cattle Producers Association will hold its annual general meeting at the Shinimicas Fire Hall. Meet and greet at 6:30 p.m., supper at 7 p.m. Call 661-4366, 657-2027 or 667-3984.
March 25
Rise N Shine Book Club
The Rise N Shine Book Club will meet from 9-10 a.m., at the Four Fathers Memorial Library in Amherst. Call 667-2549.
The Amherst chapter of the Kidney Foundation will hold its annual general meeting at 7 p.m., at the Knights of Pythias Hall, 189 Church St. All welcome. Call 667-8845.
