Volkswagen's CC has been called many things. Elegant. Sleek. Classy. Stylish. And yes, the four-door coupe is sportier looking than its more upright Passat sibling too.

Enhancing that sporting image is a new R-Line package available for the 2013 CC Highline trim level with either the 2.0-litre turbocharged TSI four-cylinder or 3.6-litre FSI V6. It's a $2,200 upgrade that adds a unique R-Line front bumper and side skirts, R-Line aluminum doorsills, R-Line exterior badging, beautiful 18-inch "Mallory" alloy wheels, and an R-Line sport steering wheel with available paddle-shifters for automatic-equipped models.

The CC R-Line was first shown at the Auto Mobil International (AMI) show in Leipzig, Germany and later followed up by a U.S. version at the Los Angeles Auto Show last month. Expect our version to be on the Volkswagen Canada show stand at this year's Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto in two month's time, although it's already available at your local Volkswagen retailer.
