BIBLE HILL - Motorists accustomed to dipping or dodging through and around the potholes on College Road should soon have some reprieve.
S.W. Weeks Construction has been contracted to pave a 3.7-km stretch of College Road, from Main Street to the village line.
"We expect it will probably start in mid-August," said Steve Smith, spokesperson for the Department of Transportation and infrastructure Renewal.
While that timeline is not definite, the contract does stipulate that the job be completed by the end of October.
Work is also slated to begin soon on a 4-km stretch on Truro Heights Road to Route 236 and on a 1.2-stretch from Lower Truro Road to the town line.
The total cost for all three projects is $2.3 million.
