HALIFAX - Hundreds of people living in co-operative housing in Halifax are getting updated, more energy-efficient homes.
The provincial and federal governments have announced $3.1 million in funding.
The work includes renovations and retrofits to about 130 housing units including roofs, windows, doors and bathrooms.
The funds are going to the North End United Housing Co-operative Ltd., the province's newest and largest housing co-op.
