Jim Proudfoot, owner of the building, said renovations are currently underway to prepare a portion of the top floor of the building for a retail location.

“There will actually be two spaces on the upper floor,” he said. “One will be open in July and another space will be for future rental.”

The building has been vacant since the company moved to their location in the Albion Business Park and Proudfoot said it’s nice to finally have something going in there.

“We don’t like seeing space idle,” he said.

Not sure what business will be in this location but my guess is a short lived one. Maybe if the town of New Glasgow was actually business friendly, a long term one. Between extreme taxes and council's preference of doing their own shopping in Box stores, no one can survive.

Good to hear someone will be using the building. Does anyone know what business is going in here?
