FREDERICTON - The mayor of Fredericton says he is shocked by news that Irving-owned Sunbury Transport is leaving his city and moving to Saint John, N.B.
Mayor Brad Woodside says between 40 and 45 workers will be affected by the decision.
He says the company will make the move in the next six months.
Irving spokeswoman says the company is consolidating its Sunbury and RST companies under one roof in Saint John.
She says the decision was made because the companies' primary customers are in the Saint John area.
