CALGARY - Calgary-based Superior Plus Corp. (TSX:SPB) says it has agreed to buy a 500-employee retail and wholesale fuel distributor operating in upstate New York for US$125 million.
Superior Plus, a diversified company that owns Canada's largest propane distribution business, says its acquisition of Griffith Holdings business will complement its own operations in New York state.
Griffiths distributes propane, heating oil and motor fuels through 27 branch locations, 26 bulk storage facilities and three storage terminals, Superior said.
