Crews from Beale & Inch Construction work on replacing storm sewers on Chignecto Street in Amherst this week. Work is also expected to begin soon on the reconstruction of East Pleasant Street, including new sanitary and storm sewers and new paving.

It's not a water main leaking near the hospital. It's a natural spring that has been doing that for well over 25 years and nobody has attempted to fix the problem, just patch over patch, and it's getting worse. Maybe a sinkhole will force them to fix it.

How about fixing that water main leak just beyond the underpass near the Hospital! It's been leaking since April. Whose water meter is that on? The water that was wasted could supply at least a couple of homes. Bet our water & sewer taxes will rise next year!
Glad they are replacing East Pleasant. Hope the Town dosen't jackhammer a two foot square around the road water valve boxes like they do everywhere else creating needless potholes! One crew paves - another right behind chips it out!

the crater by the hospital would be the county's responsibility, which they have ignored all year.
Hopefully no one sick or hurt has to go to the hospital because those bonejarring holes just might make things worse on them.
Should a councillor or MLA be headed to the hospital I hope their driver rams them into the hole to remind them.
