GAGETOWN, N.B. - A New Brunswick military base is getting $20 million in federal funding for a number of projects.
Veteran Affairs Minister Greg Thompson made the announcement today at Canadian Forces Base Gagetown.
The bulk of the money will go toward the building of an light-armoured vehicle training and storage facility on the base.
Thompson says the building will house up to 40 vehicles, as well as classrooms and training areas for personnel.
The funding will also go to an extension to base health services and to a forward operation training facility.
