N.S. fisherman swept overboard off coast of Cape Breton dies in hospital

MAIN-A-DIEU, N.S. - Police say a fisherman who fell overboard after his vessel was hit by a powerful wave today off the coast of Cape Breton has died in hospital.
Police say the 59-year-old man was rescued by another fishing vessel and taken to the dock in Louisbourg.
An ambulance took the man to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The mishap involving the 10-metre boat occurred near Main-a-Dieu.
Police say a small rescue craft was also dispatched from the coast guard station in Louisbourg.
The man's name has not been released.
