WABANA, N.L. - Search crews have recovered one man's body after two men were reported missing and an overturned motorboat was seen in a southeastern Newfoundland bay.

Police say two men, aged 39 and 30, went out in a four-metre motorboat Sunday night from Bell Island in Conception Bay.

A man called the RCMP today saying he found an overturned boat, about 300 metres off the north coast of Bell Island.

The engine was still attached and paddles were floating in the water, but the men weren't seen.

RCMP Sgt. Mike Ouellette says crews found the body of the 30-year-old man floating in Conception Bay.

Ouellette says it's not known whether the men were wearing personal flotation devices.
