BRIDGEWATER, N.S. - Nova Scotia NDP Leader Darrell Dexter says more work needs to be done on Highway 103, one of the deadliest highways in the province.
Dexter says with recent government announcements regarding infrastructure and construction, now is the time to leverage federal money with provincial dollars.
He says the Sable bypass needs to be built, along with the eventual twinning of Highway 103.
There have been 11 deaths along the highway since last year.
There have been public calls to upgrade a section between Queens and Shelburne counties.
