Tim Hortons owner and operator Bud Anderson was pleased to be behind the counter of his Springhill business today after the storefront was closed for renovations. The location, now open for business once again, is one of the first in Canada to feature the "cafe ole" theme available to Tim Hortons franchises.

Today's weather: A mix of sun and cloud with 60 percent chance of flurries. Local blowing snow this morning. Wind west 50 km/h gusting to 70 diminishing to 30 gusting to 50 this afternoon. Temperature falling to minus 7 this afternoon.

Night: Cloudy periods. Wind west 20 km/h becoming light this evening. Low minus 13.

Road conditions for Cumberland County are listed as passible with caution, blowing snow and ice.
