History was brought to life at Fort Beausejour on Saturday as historic animators used authentic uniforms, weapons, commands and cooking techniques to demonstrate what camp life was like in the mid-18th century. Close to 200 people watched how the infantry and militia lived and defended the French colonists from attacks from British armies. It was the first portrayal of camp life at Fort Beausejour in a few years, and could become an annual event.
