Man arrested Tuesday night

SACKVILLE, N.B. – Sackville RCMP have arrested a Nova Scotia man in connection with complaints received by police in the past week that a car was approaching women in Sackville.

The latest incident happened Tuesday evening while a woman was walking alone in downtown Sackville. The incidents involved a man in a red car stopping to ask women for directions. None of the incidents involve the man getting out of his vehicle or physically harming any of the women who were approached.

In one instance it’s alleged the man was committing an indecent act.

RCMP arrested a 33-year-old man from Nova Scotia at around 10 p.m. on Tuesday after stopping a vehicle that matched the description of the car associated with the complaints.

The man was been released on conditions, one of which is not to be within the boundaries of the Town of Sackville.

He is scheduled to appear in provincial court in Moncton in January.
