Another beautiful day! May we remember these days next winter when the snow falls?

This was another busy week. A baby shower was held in the Leicester Community Hall for Natalie Aucoin (nee Gilroy) on Saturday morning. She received many nice gifts for which she thanked her many friends. There were over 50 ladies in attendance.

Dorothy Bowser, accompanied by her sister Gerry Smith to Shubenacadie to visit their sister, Eleanor Archibald, a patient in the hospital following a fall resulting in a broken hip. She will be returning to Halifax for a check up this week. Get well wished to all sick and shut ins.

Margaret Casey has been released from hospital and is now at her apartment in Oxford with VON homecare.

Richard and Diane Wood, Riverview, NB, visited with her mother Elda Lowther on Monday. They had spent the day with Barb Doncaster, Oxford and had blueberries for me. They sure tasted good.

Elda Lowther accompanied John and Vivian Warwick to Truro on Sunday afternoon to spend some time with his mother Ruth Warwick and son Dickson.

Something to think about: Life isn't tied with a bow

But it is still a gift.
